Department of Hindi started functioning in the college in 2005 and ever since then, Hindi has been taught as only the Second Language for the main degree courses. The department conducts second language Classes for BA Functional English (first year and second year),BSC Microbiology (First year) and BCOM (First Year). The Department organizes regular Classes and interactive activities to help the students perform well in academics. Unit tests are conducted bimonthly twice in the semester. A model test is conducted at the completion of the semester. These test results are considered for internal evaluation. All the activities related to test paper, assignment, Seminar and group discussion are properly documented as well. The Department also provides platform to showcase the talent of students through Hindi Club activities like seminars, online webinars, Quiz program, National day celebrations, Premchand jayanti, Hindi Diwas, Viswa Hindi Diwas etc.
