INTRODUCTION

Hindi Club of Government Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara, HINDI MANCH was formed with the intention to improve and develop Hindi Language Skills-listening, speaking, reading and writing skills of students

OBJECTIVES

  • To create interest among the students for Hindi language,to make them in creative in speech and writing.
  • To develop students& Literary skills in Hindi through various activities like poetry recitation, speech , quiz, debates and writing competitions.
  • To celebrate important days for the enrichment of Hindi Language eg. Hindi Diwas, Viswa Hindi Diwas, Republic day, Independence day, Premchand Jayanthi etc.

Programme summary
As a part of Club Activities, HINDI MUNCH had organized a Hindi Poem And Shortstory Writing
Competition on 25/11/2022 at 11.30am at the Hindi Department on the topic, ‘Zindagi”. 25 students
from various Departments participated. The winners were awarded cashprize and trophies. The
firstprize was won by Anu R Yadav, I Bcom and the second prize was bagged by Rahul Rakesh of II
Bcom..Prize distribution was held on 25 January 2023.

Program Summary
On the occasion of Republic day, Hindi Munch Organised a Republic day Program on 25 th January
2023,10.30 am at room no14. BA, B.S and, B.Com Second language Hindi students participated in the
program. Anu R Yadav, B.Com first year student anchored the program. Dr. Nisha Lekshmi P delivered
the Welcome speech. Following the same, students presented Republic day Messages, Speech and
Patriotic Song. At the end of the program, a cash prize distribution for Hindi poem & short story writing
competition winners was held. The programme came to an end with vote of thanks by Dona, B. Com 1 st
year student.

Vishwa Hindi Diwas
Vishwa Hindi Diwas was celebrated on 10/01/2023 @10.30am in the Hindi class room. The program
included speech and Hindi Recitation.

Hindi Webinar 2021

WEBINAR REPORT ON `SAMAKALEEN HINDI KAVITHA`
Hindi Department, Govt. Arts and Science College, Kozhinjampara organized a webinar on the topic,
SAMAKALEEN HINDI KAVITHA on 18th July 2021. The resource person of the webinar was, Dr.
SHENUJAMOL H.N, HoD Dept. of Hindi, Govt. College CHITTUR. The Programme started at 11.30 am via
Google Meet. Nearly 80 students and a few of our faculty members attended the webinar. Dr. NISHA
LEKSHMI P. Assistant Professor and Head of the Hindi Department welcomed the audience and the
programme was formally inaugurated by Sri. Chribuna Viswas, Vice Principal of the College.
Dr. Sheenuja Mol H.N., the speaker of the day enlightened the listeners about ‘Samakaleen Hindi
Literature’ as a whole and contemporary poetry in particular. The section was really informative,
relevant and interesting. After the interaction with the participants, the section ended at 1.15 pm with
an official vote of thanks given by Ms. Sreelekshmi, of 1st B. Com.

Students webinar

On 13 April 2022, a Hindi Webinar on the topic ‘PUTHALI MEIN SANSAR KAVITHA  KA VISHLESHAN’ was organised by second year BA English second language Hindi students. Google Meet was choosen as the platform. 12 students participated the program. Dr. Nisha Lekshmi P, HoD of Hindi Department was the webinar co-ordinator.

Webinar started at 11.am., with Nandana’s prayer. Darshana anchored the program. Welcome address was given by Nikitha. Later, Thushara gave an outline about the Webinar topic and gave a brief introduction to the poet Aru Kamal. Varunbabu and Thushara gave a line-by-line explanation of the poem. A question and answer sessiom happened in which, Unnimaya and Thushara asked poem-based questions and students actively participated in the same. It was very useful and informative. The webinar concluded with the vote of thanks by Kavyasree.

Program 6

Online quiz competition

Munshi Premchand was an Indian writer famous for his modern Hindustani
literature. He is regarded as one of the foremost Hindi writers of the early 20 th
century. His works included more than a dozen novels, around 300 short stories,
several essays and translations of foreign literary works into Hindi. On the
occasion of Premchand Jayanthi `HINDI MANCH` conducted an online quiz
programme `PREMCHAND PRASHNOTHARI` on July 31 Saturday at 9.30am on
quizizz platform.

There was active participation from the students. Total 51 students participated
from BA, B.S and B.Com departments. There were 15 multiple choice questions
and each question was given 45 seconds. First prize was won by Miss Varsha G (1 ST
YEAR BCOM) and 2 nd prize was won by Miss Darshana(1 st year BA) Third prize was
shared between Archana Subash (1 st YEAR BCOM) Sisira S(1 st BSC) and Sreelakshmi
(1 ST YEAR BCOM). The winners of 1 st and 2 nd positions received cash prize and e-
quiz certificates were provided to the participants who scored above 55% of
marks.
