Report on International Peace Day

On September 15, the NSS Unit at Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjapara observed International Peace Day with the goal of “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.” The volunteers also took a pledge to promote peace. Additionally, a report was submitted on the cleaning of the campus.

Report on campus cleaning

The NSS Unit at Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara Campus conducted a cleaning event on September 4 to enhance the campus’s beauty. Smt. Bindu S spearheaded the program, and 10 NSS volunteers assisted her.

Reporting on the yoga day program conducted by NSS volunteers

Commerce Department Assistant Professor Prof. Hemalatha organised an awareness campaign for International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021. The program was conducted by NSS volunteers in the early morning at 7:30 AM. Our resource person was physical education sir, Dr. Rajeesh, who led the yoga section. Rajesh sir provided many Yogasanas such as Sheershana, savasana, and meditation, which can have many advantages for our mental and physical health. The early morning class created a peaceful atmosphere and showed that yoga is integral to our daily lives. The NSS students of GASCK College attended the program sincerely, and it was a lovely presentation.

Report on International Day of disaster reduction

The NSS unit of Govt. Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara commemorated the International Day of disaster reduction on October 13. The programme aimed to make everyone aware of the disaster and take necessary precautions. Volunteers created videos and posters on behalf of this day.

Report on National Read a book day.

The NSS Unit of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjapara National read a book day commemorated on September 6. On behalf of this day, volunteers took a book review video of their favourite book. Each department participated in this programme.

Report on the awareness program of world nature conservation day

Subject- How to protect nature from the problems of the ecosystem

The NSS unit Gasck conducted an awareness program on 28/7/2021 known as world nature conservation… The program can be led by Dr Easa..was the previous director of KFRI & the chairman of the ARANYAKAM natural foundation. The program was organized by our NSS program officer Smt. Bindhu S from Gasck.

It was an incorrigible and eligible program for that day… The program’s message was to protect nature from other problems, so Dr Easa will be provided with many thoughts about nature… That was always followed in our daily life. There is a beautiful program and motivated themes… So every person protects nature.

Report on Orientation

The NSS unit of Govt Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara commemorated the Orientation and data collection of physically and mentally challenged persons at Eruthenpathy and Nallepilly on October 22 and 23. On behalf of Kerala state legal service authority and Chittoor court PAN India awareness and outreach campaign form 19-28 for ward members. At Eruthenpathy, the resource person was Adv. Vincent and at Nallepilly Adv.Sajitha.It was a 1 Hour programme. The programme’s main aim was to make the general public aware of the newly arrived rights and laws of the Indian constitution. Three Volunteers representing GASCK participated in the programme

Report on Orientation

On November 24, the NSS unit of Government Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara held an event to promote a world without war and violence. The event was organized by the WWWV team in Kerala and took place at 7 pm. The program’s theme was “Light to Light,” the resource persons were Dr. K Rasitha and Sateesh P, the WWWV coordinators from Palakkad. The NSS volunteers delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks, and the session was highly interactive.

Report on Teacher’s Day

On September 5, the NSS Unit of Government Arts and Science College Kozhinjapara celebrated Teacher’s Day. We appreciated our educators by creating posters, drawings, crafts, and videos. Each department showcased its work, and we also presented gifts to our faculty members as a token of our gratitude for enriching us with education.

Report on United Nations Day

The NSS unit of Government Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara celebrated United Nations Day on October 24. The event was held online at 11am, organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting field outreach bureau Palakkad and NADAM foundation Palakkad. Adv. Girish Menon was the resource person, and all volunteers participated in the program.

Report on World Aids Day

The NSS unit of Government Arts and Science College Kozhinjampara observed World AIDS Day on December 1 by organizing an online orientation in partnership with the Kerala government and the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare. All volunteers participated in the program to promote equality and prevent discrimination against AIDS patients.
